Today, in 2017 - something rather remarkable had occurred, something that even ryant couldn't imagine. Was it a cruel play by the OCM Gods? Was this real? Am I real? Is even life itself real?
It was said that on day 40 of season 39, after 26 seasons of pain (and 6 years) that Britcycles can finally hold a trophy that we can call our own. ryant signed up for Critérium la Grasse knowing we had no hope, Doherty had all but given up on life and the rest of the team knew this was only going to be a training ride. But, after 4 long hours and a cunning shortcut later Doherty rejoined the race 3km from the line and sprinted away from his competitors to take this historic win.
Questions still remain over the running of the team now that we have actually won something of note, but now ryant can retire - knowing he has earned his place in OCM's illustrious history.
